The next time you need Urgent Care, you can see wait times for each location, save your spot in line and even trigger a text message to notify you when it’s time to leave your house – and you can do it all online at ngpg.org/urgent-care.
“We’re focused on helping people get the right care, at the right place, at the right time,” says Daniel Tuffy, president of Northeast Georgia Physician’s Group (NGPG). “This new service helps you choose the right location when you need urgent care, and it allows you to wait in the comfort of your own home instead of an office. And, best of all, it’s easy.”
NGPG has seven urgent care locations to serve you in Braselton, Buford, Cleveland, Dacula, Dahlonega, Dawsonville and Gainesville. All locations are open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., for the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. Effective June 1, Urgent Care in Dahlonega also resumed normal hours of 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. The location offered extended hours for several months to provide after-hours care following the closing of Chestatee Regional Hospital last summer.
“We’re proud we provided coverage when the community needed it most, and everyone is thankful emergency care will soon be available in Dahlonega when the hospital reopens as Northeast Georgia Medical Center Lumpkin on July 16,” says Tuffy.
