Chelsea Chandler, MD
Physician of the Month
Dr. Chelsea Chandler is a board-certified physician with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Gynecologic Oncology. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia where she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency, as well as a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery for gynecologic malignancies.

Advanced Practice Provider of the Month
Jennifer Roark is a provider with NGPG Family Medicine. She obtained her clinical education from Georgia State University and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
It is a privilege to work with Jennifer. She exudes our core value respectful compassion to all she comes in contact with. She goes out of her way to take care of patients and staff as if they were her own family members. She has always been someone staff can go to for advice and is always willing to help. She makes patients feel heard and understood. Jennifer is incredibly thorough and smart. We are blessed to have her!
Clara Rodriguez, MSW
Employee of the Month
Clara Rodriguez is a social worker with NGPG Patient Centered Care Management/Social Work. She is based in the NGPG Hall County Health Department where she is an integral part of the team, serving complex patients with many clinical and social determinates of health needs.
Clara goes above and beyond for her patients and team. During a time of transition in our department, she was the ONLY ambulatory based social worker available to serve all ambulatory social work referrals in our system. Clara demonstrated deep interdependence in her commitment to this full patient population by ensuring that all referrals received appropriate review and interventions, often working late and thru meal breaks. Further, she fully utilized her limited support resources through purposeful collaboration and taking the time to educate, even during this busy time.
Clara was also instrumental in the team rebuild, helping with recruitment, interviews, and selection of high-quality new team members to bring the team to full staffing. She has also directly supported the orientation of two new to health care experienced social workers by working side by side with them in their new clinics. Again, going above and beyond, to help explore new standard work approaches and how to apply them into new practice environments. Helping to establish a firm foundation of relationships with care partners and then improving a collaborative care team approach to complex patients.
