Curtis Campbell, DO

Physician of the Month

Curtis Campbell, DO, is a board-certified family medicine provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. Dr. Campbell received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete a residency at Gwinnett Medical Center.

Dr. Campbell does more than his role as a doctor calls for. He’s always putting safety first, ensuring each patient and employee are comfortable when they come to the office for their appointment. He’s dedicated, and is usually the first one in the building, going above and beyond what’s required. He takes his time with each patient, making sure their problems are addressed and they get the help they need. Apart from the care he provides to patients, he is also patient, caring and helpful with each of his colleagues. He’s always making sure they’re not overwhelmed, and are equipped to do their job well each day.

Abigail Cortez, FNP

Advanced Practice Provider of the Month

Abigail Cortez, FNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Georgia State University.

Abigail is always willing to help when patients can’t be seen by their normal doctor. She keeps up with her own patients and takes on the extra work without hesitation. She makes an impression on the patients she sees, always leaving them feeling better than when they came in. She treats others, including her coworkers, with respect and always has a positive attitude. She’s dependable and never turns down the opportunity to help someone who needs it.

Gale Little, MOA

Employee of the Month

Gale helps keep everything straight at NGPG Flowery Branch. She is always kind and compassionate to both patients and staff in the office. She’s positive, even when things go wrong. And she’s caring, even when it may be a difficult situation. Gale is attentive to what patients are asking when they check in for their appointment, and knows just about every patient by name – she even takes time to notice if they have a birthday coming up and wishes them well.

Gale is kind and truly makes everyone’s day better. She is a role model for the rest of her team, and trains new medical office assistants as they are hired. She takes on these responsibilities and still gets her normal duties done each day. Gale’s attitude makes everyone around her better.
