Ansley Pulsifer, FNP, is returning to her roots to provide care as a family nurse practitioner in a community she knows well. After growing near Toccoa, she always dreamed of coming back to the area – and she’s now living out that dream by joining the team at Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Toccoa Clinic.
“Joining a group like this, that I’ve seen around me all my life, is such an honor,” Pulsifer said. “I’m excited to get to work with such incredible, hard-working and dedicated people.”
Pulsifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Augusta University, and has worked as a registered nurse ever since – first at Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins, Georgia, and then at St. Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, Georgia. She also spent time as a clinical instructor at North Georgia Technical College and most recently worked at Clarkesville Dermatology & Medical Associates.
Pulsifer and her husband recently welcomed their first child, so when she isn’t at work, she enjoys going to the lake with them, along with their two labrador retrievers, whenever she gets the chance.
NGPG’s physicians and advanced practice providers diagnose and treat multiple medical problems for patients of all ages, ranging from sore throat to heart disease and everything in between. NGPG is honored to care for families when they’re well and when they’re not well.
NGPG Toccoa Clinic is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 58 Big A Road in Toccoa. Call 706-886-3148 to schedule an appointment with Pulsifer, or visit www.ngpg.org/pulsifer to learn more.
NGPG is an affiliate of Northeast Georgia Health System.
