Women in Toccoa and the surrounding area deserve holistic and accessible healthcare options, closer to home, for every stage of life. That is why Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) is now offering comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care at its location on 58 Big A Road.
Thomas Hatchett, MD, a board-certified OB/GYN with nearly four decades of experience, and Britteny Barron, a certified nurse midwife, have joined Traci Coyne – a family nurse practitioner who has long provided gynecologic care for the community.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Toccoa community and to provide comprehensive care to our patients,” said Coyne. “As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our services to better meet the community’s needs, including offering OB care. I look forward to remaining a trusted partner in your healthcare journey and deeply appreciate the support from our wonderful community.”
Dr. Hatchett and Britteny, who notably delivered the first baby at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Habersham when the hospital joined Northeast Georgia Health System last year, welcomed the opportunity to expand their practice to Toccoa back in July.
“We are very excited to continue to offer gynecological surgical services to the patients in Stephens County with surgeries performed a short drive away in Demorest,” explained Dr. Hatchett. “In addition, we are proud to bring obstetrical care back to Stevens County with prenatal care in Toccoa, making this important service much more convenient.”
The updated NGPG OB/GYN team is committed to offering a wide range of services including routine gynecological exams, prenatal care, family planning, and menopause management.
