Darrice Collins, DPM
Physician of the Month
Darrice Collins, DPM, joined Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Podiatry in Gainesville and Demorest in April of this year and quickly settled in as an active and approachable member of the NGPG community. Dr. Collins is board-certified in Podiatry and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. He received his medical degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed a residency at The Jewish Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Podiatry at the Orthopedic Center of Florida.
Collins is an invaluable asset to the NGPG team, always ready to help whenever needed. Known for his willingness to cover clinic days on short notice, he’s the person we can count on for support, whether seeing patients in the office or following up with inpatients at the hospital. Dr. Collins consistently goes above and beyond for his patients, giving each case his full attention and thoughtful care. His adaptability, as seen when he took the time to create a minimally invasive plan for a patient in need, reassures us of his patient-centered care. His dedication and adaptability make him an incredible addition to NGPG and a true example of patient-centered care.
Kelly-Ann Peters, PA-C
Advanced Practice Provider of the Month
Kelly-Ann is a Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedic Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery with the Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. She is based in Gainesville and obtained her clinical education from Philadelphia College of Medicine—Georgia Campus.
Her compassion shines through in every interaction, whether ensuring patients feel comfortable or stepping in to lend a hand, as she did when she braved the pouring rain to wheel a patient with a broken leg to his car, staying by his side until he was safely on his way.
Beyond her exceptional patient care, Kelly-Ann has demonstrated impressive leadership within the team. She organizes ongoing education for the PAs on the Ortho Trauma team and is growing into an effective leader. Her commitment to ongoing education and her effective leadership inspires us all. She collaborates seamlessly with providers, staff, and families, setting herself apart through her hard work and commitment. Kelly Ann is truly an invaluable asset to NGPG, embodying the dedication and empathy that make our team exceptional.
Hannah Davis, MLT
Employee of the Month
Hannah Davis is an exceptional medical laboratory technician (MLT) at Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Urgent Care in Dahlonega who truly embodies our values of “Passion for Excellence” and “Deep Interdependence.” Her technical excellence, from preparing and analyzing patient samples to performing diagnostic tests with unwavering accuracy, instills confidence in her work. Her expertise with lab equipment and precise interpretation of results enables us to deliver timely, informed patient care, whether calibrating instruments or ensuring lab safety protocols; Hannah’s professionalism and attention to detail uphold the highest standards.
Her commitment goes beyond technical excellence; she brings a vibrant spirit that boosts morale, making the clinic brighter. For the whole team, and especially as a provider, knowing we have someone as skilled and dependable as Hannah means we can fully trust the accuracy and reliability of every lab result.
