Cody Rowan, MD
Physician of the Month
Dr. Cody Rowan is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Rowan received his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia. After completing a residency at the University of Tennessee in Anesthesiology, he completed a fellowship in Regional Anesthesia at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and later a fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Virginia. He joined Northeast Georgia Physicians Group in 2021.
Dr. Rowan is a prime example of passion for excellence and deep intercedence. His bedside manner is unmatched, and he is constantly striving to be better. He is thorough and ensures he is treating the whole patient. He regularly offers a helping hand and asks staff how he can help make their job better. Our team truly enjoys working with him!
Anamaria McClaude, FNP
Advanced Practice Provider of the Month
Anamaria McClaude, FNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group specializing in Internal Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Kennesaw State University.
Anamaria is one of the most thoughtful and helpful members of our team. She is always thinking of the patient first and how she can help. Recently, Anamaria had a patient that was dealing with multiple health concerns. She reached out to the patient personally for several weeks to check up on the patient. She goes above and beyond to take care of others and treats every patient with respect, as if they are her own family. NGPG is lucky to have Anamaria!
Bercita Baker, MOA

Bercita Baker is a surgery scheduler with NGPG Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
She is an absolute rockstar and lives out the NGHS Core Values. She brings her absolute best to work every day, whether it be scheduling surgeries or obtaining prior authorizations, her passion and commitment are evident in her attention to detail and wonderful customer service.
Bercita is compassionate and kind, not only with our patients, but also with her co-workers. She has given rides to co-workers and even makes sure we are taking time to eat lunch! She is always willing to go above and beyond – what a treasure!
