New provider coming to Bethlehem as NGHS continues growing to care for community

As the need for care grows in Bethlehem, Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is working to expand access so the community can find the care it needs, when it needs it. Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Gateway Exchange is addressing those needs by adding a new provider in Candace Vandiver, FNP.

“I’ve been practicing for almost a decade and have loved every minute of it,” Vandiver said. “Caring for people, especially in a tight-knit community like this, fuels me and brings me true joy.”

Vandiver earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Georgia and went on to earn her master’s degree in nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia. Previously, she’s worked as a nurse practitioner with a couple of hospice care services as well as a doctor’s office in Jefferson, Georgia.

When she’s not at work, Vandiver stays busy with her three children as she and her husband take them around to all of their many sports activities. Vandiver played softball in college and now spends her free time coaching her daughter’s team.

NGPG Gateway Exchange is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 426 Exchange Boulevard, Suite 600, in Bethlehem. Call 770-868-5186 to schedule an appointment or visit ngpg.org/vandiver to learn more.

NGPG is an affiliate of Northeast Georgia Health System.
